Types of Windows

There are two basic types of windows in Windows: Application windows and Dialog Boxes.

Application Windows

Application windows are the main interface to programs. They usually have a Title Bar and Control Buttons, a Menu Bar, Scroll Bars and a Border for resizing.

Dialog Boxes

Dialogs are small windows that talk to you about something specific.
